We stepped down from our plane into bright sunshine, and 31 degrees! Lovely!
I managed to find us a room in town that offered a tiny pool on the roof, so naturally J and A were straight into it
The lads are still suffering colds so we abandoned theme park plans (much to Amy's disgust) and headed off to find some lunch.
The old town is narrow and winding streets with the moorish influence clear in the many tiled features.
The footy (soccer!!) was on so we found a bar serving tapas and cold beer and watching the local team, unfortunately lost. Jack was attracting less affection sporting his FC Barcelona top here for sure!
The afternoon saw us snoozing and then a long walk by the river and back though town again.
We stopped to watch a rollerblading display- kids were wowed by the stunts.
The cathedral here is spectacular!
Off to the countryside later today- I am looking forward to some lighter eating with a few bbq's at home! Love the food here but not much greenery on offer in the tapas.
