After a nice sleep in this morning, we set off for the Sagrada Familia. Our route took us through the city's wide leafy streets- well laid out with separated bike and pedestrian lanes so it was easy to find our way.
This one is for you Andy and George- a model shop that had everythi g you could think of!
The crush around the Cathedral was full on, but we had booked tickets online so didnt need to queue.
We wandered around inside then toured through the displays downstairs. The kids look very interested don't they?? NOT!
Gaudi's vision really was incredible, and the workshops where they are continuing to work on this were really interesting.
We legged it back home, stopping for lunch along the way and to stock up on some gourmet goodies for post sietsa snacks.
After bemoaning a lack of street art along our walks, we then stumbled upon a couple of space invaders and detailed mosaic features when we walked out to find our dinner.
We walked 14.75 km today in all!! Off to bed now for a well deserved sleep. The plan tomorrow is possibly to hire bikes and head for the waterfront, and also check out the Boqueria.
Sounds wonderful. Better weather than here in Tokyo!
